Social media plays a big role in our lives especially during this time if pandemic. It didn't just entertained us but also, it helps us know everything that is happening in the world.

Social media is very important in communicating other people around the globe. It helped families, social workers and government in discerning information during calamities. Through social media every family can easily communicate their relatives from other places especially those outside the country. Especially now that we experience lockdowns, travel bans, and restrictions, it became hard for us to be with our love ones. But through the help of the internet and different kinds of social media platforms, it became easy and possible ofr us to be connected to our love ones virtually. We may not be able to see them face to face and in person, we may not be able to hug them tight, we can still show our love for them through the social media. Texts/chats, voice, and video calls are some of the social media's smart ways for us to be still connected to our family and friends. 

It is said that social media is where we can give, collect, and share informations which means we can be updated to the happenings in the outside world even without actually going out. The social media users from around the world can share all the happenings in their places and the others being updated. Simple as that.
